Special Review: Wood High Chairs
with overhead or sliding trays. MADE IN THE USA. |
||
We recently took a trip to our local mall to look for high chairs and were quite surprised by what we did not find! What ever happened to those good old fashioned wood high chairs anyway? We only found one high chair that was made of wood. It was made of pine and painted green with pink flowers. Obviously the designer of that one never had kids! A wood high chair should be made from hardwood such as oak, cherry or ash. Pine is soft and will dent easily when kids beat on it with cups and spoons. So we tried an Internet search and learned that solid wood high chairs are still being made! And, they're still being made in the USA. The world isn't 100% plastic yet! A factory in New York state is still making quality wood high chairs and you can find them online at www.WoodHighChairs.com/ |

If you're in a hurry, then order the sliding tray high chair in hardwood Ash. They are ready-to-ship and can be in your home within 2 weeks. Cracker Barrel Restaurants use this same high chair design and that fact alone says volumes about the quality of these chairs. Either of these wood high chairs will serve you for many years because when the trays are removed, you have very solid youth chairs. The low-profile design allows the arms of the chair to slide under most dining tables so your baby, or soon to be child, will have a great seat at all those family gatherings. Plastic chairs will come and go but one of these wonderful wood high chairs could be in your family for generations to come! |
